Wow, this is massive. Nice to see legendary crooner Bob Mitchell (ATTACKER, e.g.) back in action with his band SLEEPY HOLLOW, which was around in the very early 90s and then got lost in space. And what this crew delivers is a quite straight and simple but very memorable and catchy powermetal with, as I said, massive chord progressions and an overall simmering atmosphere on which Bob`s raspy voice rides like an armada of wicked witches. These guys know to play exactly the right amount of notes and chords and compose tunes for eternity. Next to CAGE this is one of the brightest stars on the sky if it comes to top notch US powermetal with a straight “in your face” approach. And you can bet, many bands try but only few of them know to write songs like these which stand out as instant classics of the current decade. Buy or be killed! Sir Lord Doom
