They want to show us that even 30 years after the initial release of "Wild cat" our beloved TYGERS OF PAN TANG still know how to kick out the jams. Robb Weir might have grey hair by now, but he still rawks the stage like a maniac (as we have experienced on 2010's KEEP IT TRUE festival) and his current singer with his mid level, but very bright voice can compete with "Crazy nights" and "Spellbound" star crooner John Deverill very easily. But can he do "Wild cat" material without stealing the original flair? You will easily tell that his melodic, yet powerful voice gives this material a whole new dimension and it makes even the old farts sound like having been composed just yesterday by a young and hungry act. Lovely. A great surprise from this classic NWoBHM act and a cool appetizer for the next album with whole new songs.
