You want your metal technically overwhelming with lots of changes, great vocals that give you goosebumps and stick to your mind from the first time you ever hear them, with insane guitarpassages that are so beautiful sometimes, it could make you cry and finally with twisted but always dragging rhythms? Here we go, the italian legends Adramelch are back with a vengeance. Man, this is not of this earth. Forget Dream Theater and their utterly boring clone bands, this is the real deal. The production alone is great, heavy, powerful and so naturally as if the band would have set up their gear right in the room next door. Here you get the band as it is. Playful, passionated and inspired. Their lust for metal hasn't gotten smaller during the last 16 years. They are just not the bunch of teenagers anymore that they used to be on "Irae Melanox". They might have gotten older but they are not less hungry these days, just a bit more matured in the arrangements. This album shows depth and magick from the first to the last note. The band draws inspiration from medieval music, folk and all kinds of peculiar, outstanding hardrock and metal. And still they write songs that become accessible after a few spins, songs that are memorable and definitely driven by the fire of love, love for the music and the people. This bunch of musicians can be seen as one of the nicest groups of persons that have built a home in the overcrowded metal scene.
